Rip Mitako
Rip Mitako is a 38-year-old news and social media analyst from Honolulu, Hawaii, who doesn’t just analyze politics—he performs full-blown political colonoscopies. as one of our dedicated Political Proctologists, Rip is on a mission to rid the political landscape of hypocrisy, one deserving skid-mark at a time.
Leaning left of center, Rip directs most of his sharpest critiques at the absurdities coming from the right. But don’t mistake him for just another partisan hack. Rip’s guiding principle is consistency. “If you’re not willing to call out your own side, you have no business calling out the other,” he declares. And he lives by it, often turning his scalpel on the left when they step out of line, because, as he puts it, “bias is one thing, but hypocrisy? That’s unforgivable.”
Rip believes credibility is something you earn, not inherit, and as such, we are all a little safer, because nobody is safe. Whether he’s dismantling a nonsensical policy or giving unpopular credit where it’s due, Rip’s commentary is always unflinchingly honest. He’s a firm believer that if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem, and he’s here to keep the political discourse healthy—one brutal truth at a time.
