Fatanhari Pootar
Fatanhari Pootar was born in central London, just a stone's throw from where his mother served at the Pakistani embassy and his father at the Indian embassy. As the son of high-ranking diplomats, Fatanhari carries the unique distinction of being a natural-born citizen of the UK, Pakistan, and India—a trifecta of nationalities that gives him a global perspective few can rival.
Now making his home in Bristol with his wife and three children, Fatanhari is as comfortable dissecting the latest political turmoil in Brussels as he is in Beijing. Well-versed in both European and Asian politics, he applies his pen as a political proctologist whenever these regions run amok, offering sharp critiques with a dash of dry humor.
What? You thought only Americans were messed up? There’s a whole world out there. Europe and Asia have their fair share. Whether it’s a bureaucratic blunder in Berlin or a diplomatic disaster in Delhi, Fatanhari Pootar is there to scope it out.
